Our ministry is using the gifts, talents and abilities that God has entrusted to us for Him by serving others. You can see below areas that people can serve at River Church:
Set Up Team (Sundays)
Our Set Up Team gets everything ready for our Sunday Meetings. This includes setting up chairs, tables, the information desk, the refreshment counter, flags and signage. This team serve on a roster and start at 9am on the Sunday they serve.
Hosting Team (Sundays)
Our Hosting Team ensures the smooth running of our Sunday Meetings. This includes serving refreshments, welcoming first time guests, receiving the offering and distributing communion elements. This team serve on a roster and need to set up from 10am on the Sunday they serve.
Projection Team (Sundays)
Our Projection Team display the Power Point for worship song lyrics and Bible verses. This team serve on a roster and need to set up the computer, TV’s and projector at 10am on the Sunday they serve.
Worship Team (Sundays)
Our Worship Team lead us into the Presence of God through Praise and Worship. This includes singing, playing an instrument and sound technicians. This team has a regular practice on a Monday evening and they serve on Sundays as often as possible. They start at 9am on the Sunday they serve. An audition is required to join this team.
Children’s Ministry (Sundays)
This includes leading sessions with Bible teaching, games and craft with our children during the sermon. We provide a curriculum and you would serve as part of a team. This team serves on a roster about once a month. An interview, references and a DBS check is required to join this team.
First Aid Team (Sundays and Events)
We have a team that provides first aid in the event of an accident our injury at our Sunday Meetings or events. This team serves on a roster. A valid first aid certificate or qualification is required to join this team.
Youth Group (Fridays)
This involves helping our Youth Worker at our Youth Group. You would be there as practical support and as a source of encouragement to our young people. You would serve once or twice a month on a Friday evening. An interview, references and a DBS check is required to join this team.
